Of all the qualities in all the people I have ever met, I have come to appreciate kindness the most.

I'd describe myself as broad-minded, tolerant, outgoing, modest and adaptable.

I like to surround myself with positive energy and people, and thus distance myself from the negative ones, as I have always done. I like to collect experiences, not things, which is obviously why I spend all my money on travel, without having enough underwear and clothing.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

WANDERLUST (def. a strong desire for or impulse to wander or travel and explore the world)

It never ceases to amaze me, the kindness and broad-mindedness of Couchsurfers. It's safe to say that the world would certanily be a better place if more people travelled like this.

I have hosted and surfed and had pretty great experiences. My philosophy is, if you're ready for the fundamentals of CS, you're a great person. That's why I, and most of the people doing this, have never had problems - because to expect amazing, you've got to be amazing. And I'm extremely thankful for the friends, and I will stress that out - FRIENDS - that i've gained over here.

So I guess that's why. Friendship.

I'd like to think I've come from rags to riches. Ok, not riches, but from rags to where I am now.

I have been made richer by the number of people I have met, from all over the world and I count my blessings in that way.

I have made students who hate books begin to read. Personally I think I will never do anything greater.

I have drank wine under the Eiffel tower, read books in many famous bookshops, slept on people's floors in order to see the world's beauty, and I'm pretty much proud of every single thing I've done. OK, maybe not every single thing, ...

I've been to the other side of the world, out of my European comfort zone, visiting Thailand and Indonesia, the heaven on Earth.
