CURRENT MISSION

Have my gap year in London between 2015 and 2016. My goal is to get the most out of my time and explore as much as I can in Europe.

ABOUT ME

I am from Taiwan, Taipei. My mother tongue is Mandarine Chinese.
I am a really easy-going and considerate person who enjoy spending time with people.
Currently I am working in a Casino in London as a receptionist. It is really fun!! I am just enjoying talking and working with people who have differnet nationalities, different backgrounds. For me, It is like reading a variety of books. A lot of live stories and experiences that people have are worthy to share with more people.

Therefore, during this year I will travel to different countries while sharing more stories from my lovely country, Taiwan. If you are interested in getting know or thinking to come to Taiwan, please don't hesitate to drop my a message. Furthermore, I am happy to meet up and be your tour guide if you are either in Taipei or London depending where I am at that moment.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I first heard about couch surfing, I found the idea of sharing economy really interesting. Then, after I actually couch surfed on my first time, I was fascinated by how welcome and friendly my host was. I think this is what makes couch surfing so different from other ways of traveling. Everybody is just willing to share and this certainly cannot be measured or purchased by money. Although so far I haven't got many travel or couch surfing experience but I am sure I will do it for my life time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My college and I designed a mobile app for the most famous night market in Taipei. We put on the information of what each street vendor sells with picture and word discription and where to find them in the market on this app. The the most craziest thing that we have done is we collected more than a hundred information of street vendors after taking a few months to ask for their permission by them each by each. I have to say the good thing is worthy to be promoted, isn't!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to swim because I have life saving guard and swimming teacher qualifications. Apart from that, if you are interested in learning some Mandarine Chinese, I will be willing to teach you the language, sharing some interesting stories from Asia or give you a Chinese name if you haven't got one lol
