I’m a kiwi gal, currently based in Wollongong NSW for a very excited work opportunity. I’m not able to host unfortunately, but I’d LOVE to meet up with like-minded people. 😊

I used Couchsurfing to travel around South America in 2015, and found it such an awesome way to connect with local people, and to have really authentic experiences wherever I went. I was also able to host some travellers once I got back to my home town of Wellington, NZ and I loved continuing the travel vibes even once I was back to real-life.

My passions include cooking, working with kids, singing, getting outdoors to explore natural areas, and I absolutely love dancing. Especially salsa, but I really enjoy learning new styles of dancing too.

I love the genuine exchange of ideas and philosophies that occurs when strangers with a shared passion for travel and new experiences meet up. I also really love the concept of community reciprocity that Couchsurfing enables!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being in Yogyakarta (Indonesia) during a thunderstorm at the same time as the evening call to prayer echoed through the city was an extraordinarily spiritual experience.

Salsa dancing on the Carribean beaches of Colombia with local Afro-Colombians was incredible.
