Hey! I’m Merve, born and raised in Turkiye.
My husband Eren and I love traveling, meeting new people, and learning about different cultures. We believe that every person has a story worth hearing, and Couchsurfing is such a beautiful way to share those stories.

We both enjoy hosting people at our home — cooking together, exchanging travel experiences, or just talking for hours. Some of our favorite memories come from random nights spent with travelers who quickly turned into friends.

I work in sales, and when I’m not at work, I like organizing things around the house and planning our next trip even if it’s just a short weekend escape. Eren is the funny one, more social, more spontaneous and together we make a pretty good team.

We’re both easygoing, respectful, and genuinely curious about people. We love positive energy, good conversations, and kind souls who make the world feel smaller in the best way.

I joined a Work and Travel program in the U.S. in 2014. It was my first big adventure abroad. I worked, traveled, made friends from different countries, and learned that stepping out of your comfort zone can actually be fun!

I can share some Turkish culture, a few phrases, traditions, and of course, how to make simple Mediterranean dishes. I also love showing how Turkish coffee is made.
