ABOUT ME

So, I´m Hana and I live in Prague. I study something like disability studies at the Charles University. Apart from that, I play the drums. And drumming and music is my life. I play all the time, I teach little drummers (although many of them are higher than me :-D), I listen to music (jazz, swing, rock, funky, folk and classic music too.) and I sing all day long. Because of music, I´m quite busy, but I always find time for my friends, for tea, coffee or dinner together, for walk trough the centre or making crazy ideas. I also like books - reading at night instead of sleeping is typical for me. When I have holidays I like travel and meet new people, playing on the street and delight citizens.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because it is way how people can meet new people, new culture, share experience, have a fun and save money (or save somebody´s money) together.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to many kinds of music. I like czech music groups which plays rock, folkrock or ska, "classical rock groups" like Led Zeppelin, jazz and swing, especially old jazz and swing, but sometimes I have moment for classical music for example Beethoven, Rachmaninoff or Czech composer Dvořák.
And books? I prefer those books that are written in interesting style or that bring us new question, like The Magus by John Fawles, If on a winter's night a traveler by Italo Calvino, The Trial by Franz Kafka, Three to see the King by Magnus Mills and many others books and writers, Salinger, Styron, Saroyan, Ken Kessey, McCarthy

I teach drumming, it is my profession and I like it. And what do I learn myself? It is clear - drumming too.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I´m musician and usually travel with my friends - musicians, so we can play all the time and we can make a private concerts, songs on request and so on =). Moreover, we love cooking together especially because of fun (and because it is tasty surely), so we can share greats meals or moments of cooking.
