I'm a more-or-less lifelong student on a mission to unlock the secrets of the universe. Don't know if I'll pull it off but it's worth a try. Right now I'm doing a PhD thesis on Christianity and the psychology of violence among the post-Roman barbarians.

But I'm a bit sick of libraries, plus it seems a little naive to imagine that real understanding can be derived entirely from bits of paper, so I'm on a little tour de France to just have a look at the place and possibly even have some fun at the same time!

I like to chat, i like a little dance, I'm not averse to a bit of intoxication of whatever brand. I am also capable of shutting my face and reading quietly if necessary. I need to hear French people speaking French to improve my comprehension. And I'm a nice guy (but then I would say that, wouldn't I?) (I am tho)

I have this idea that everything that has ever happened and is happening is connected by invisible strings, so to speak (i'm not referring to 'string theory' here)... i don't think i'm expressing this very well, but at the risk of sounding unbearably pretentious... listen to the music!

In conclusion I rarely fail to find things interesting.

I am happy to give informal lessons on any bit of history, even the bits I don't know about. Since history is the ultimate super-subject, I also know a few things about psychology, economics, anthropology and whatnot, and I love to talk about all these things. I can also do the washing up or chop wood or whatever.
