Hi!

My name is Pawel, I’m 26 years old Software Developer currently based in London.

I’ve always wanted to travel all around the world but always had a lot of excuses. Durning my studies I discovered thing called Erasmus which totally changed my life. Gave me the opportunity to move to Spain for an year and study there, learn the language, know planty of different people from all around the world.

I made a lot of friends, with many of them I'm still in touch. It was the time when i felt for the first time in my life that the world is mine! After that experience my hunger of discovering world and more cultures has increased and once I graduate I decided to have a break and took a Gap Year.

I left home only with my backpack and solo hitchhiked around the Europe for about 3 month, I met sooo many nice people, had a lot of adventures. Also been using Couchsurfing and knew a lot of interesting people thanks to that!

After Europe my next part was Mexico! I honestly love this country and hoping to go back soon! I spent there about 5 months solo hitchhiking around the Republic. It’s not that dangerous as everyone says! I made so many good memories and even more good friends!

Currently I moved to London and work as a Software Developer. I’m looking forward for more adventures and to meet some more interesting people here!

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I don’t make plans. I honestly believe in two things. The first one is that the best moments in your life are not planned and the second one is the kindness. Despite all the nasty things that happen on the earth I believe that if you help someone, next time someone will help you. That's why I'm here. Moreover, you can meet a lot of great people using this site.

I traveled alone but I’ve never been alone! I love spending time with people. Everything is better when shared (almost everything :D)!

Interessen

I'm really crazy about all the water sports! I had been swimming since I was a kid. When I was a youngster I had extra physical education classes in swimming. I grew up in a small polish town surrounded by lakes so I had a lot of opportunities to practice.

The second thing which I really fell in love with is skateboarding. I’ve been skateboarding for 10 years now and it's still not enough for me. I had a lot of breaks and those days when I'm older I don't have so much free time as I used to have but I still love to do it.

One of my biggest dream was to try surfing! It's like a mix of two of my favourites activities. It's like skateboarding on the waves! Skateboarding was made from surfing. I finally tried it when I was in Mexico and I totally love it!! Big waves here I am!

I love travelling but do i really have to mention this? :)

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I can't imagine my life without music. It's like a part of me. Listening to the music gives me freedom and helps me to solve the problems. It's like a drug to me. Generally I'm full of energy but mostly I listen to the calm music. A lot of rock, indie rock and rap. Love to listen to the lyrics!

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I’ve made a few crazy things in my life so far. Definitely one of them was my crazy solo hitchhiking Gap Year around the Europe and Mexico! I’m still looking forward to experience more and more!
