ABOUT ME
¡Hola todos! I've just finished my exchange studies in Pamplona, Spain. Having had several pleasant couchsurfing experience during my my trips in Europe, I feel like doing some contribution to return the favour that they have given me. ;)
I'm always cheerful, positive and curious about things around me, especially the new and exotic ones and so I think being with locals is definitely an in-depth way for me to discover places and culture!!!
PHILOSOPHY
A life of good luck depends on your positive attitude towards everything. Be up even it's down, Be bright even it's dark.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My friend Mandy, who is an experienced surfer and traveler introduced Couchsurfing to me. I really admire her as she has got great personality charisma, and confidence. She told me that Couchsurfing is not only about finding a place to sleep, but also an brilliant way for self-growing, realizing who you are, what you want by meeting people from different cultural backgrounds which I think is a good idea for me to broaden my horizon.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
13-12-2014 Burgos
A super nice stay with a group of internationals who came to Spain for a volunteering program. I planned to walk around the city myself but it turned out to be an unexpected hiking joy with one of my hosts and a group of Spanish people. We exchanged cultural discussion, laughs and 'tomamos café' (had coffee together).
April 2015 Turkey
I couchsurfed throughout my trip in Turkey. Met amazing and friendly Turkish people, having a taste of a totally different culture. A stay in Konya with a host who does not speak English makes me realize what counts more when you really want to communicate. An unforgettable experience!
Interests
I really love outdoor activities, like hiking, running, cycling.
When I was in Lyon to visit my friend in February, I rent a bicycle for the first time of my life in Europe. It was totally fun, feeling the breeze go through your face.
I also play piano and ukulele that I have forgotten to bring to Spain for busking. :(

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Random pop band music, e.g. Maroon 5, Coldplay, One Republic. Solo singer, e.g. Justin Timberlake, Jessie J, Eason Chan (HK singer)
Movies: Inception - I like Leonardo DiCaprio a lot for his fantastic acting and interpretation of characters.
Howl's moving castles - This is an Japanese anime adapted from an English novel of the same name. I simply like the theme:anti-war and the human relationship shown in the film.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
1. Did several hitch-hikings in Turkey. Just amazed by how friendly Turkey people are!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! April 2015
2. Travelling to Morocco to see the contrast between the magnificent Mosque and Sahara desert and negligible me. Nov 2014
3. A hike to the 2nd highest peak, Lantau Peak in HK on 1-1-2014
Teach, Learn, Share
I don't think I'm qualified to teach anything yet because I still got tons to learn :P
I believe the best way to learn is to stay true, do what you feel like, and be guided by your intuition and gradually you will gain something somehow. There's a Chinese saying which seems plausible: A watched flower never blooms, but an untended willow grows. Trying not to pursue too hard for in the end you will learn rewarding things wholly far from your expectation.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I like to talk a lot so it will be a great pleasure for me to talk about my every-day life in Pamplona and funny travel experience, if you don't consider it as a bother.
I can also cook you Chinese food in return, jaja :)
