ABOUT ME

Hi, I`am Pati from Lublin in Poland and this Summer I`m traveling USA. A few days ago I have became an Bachelor of National Security and now I`m preparing myself to start the most interesting three months in my life. The first two I`m working at AHRC Katy Isaacson & Elaine Gordon Lodge for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. On 25 August I`m ending my work and starting traveling USA that I have known from movies and tv. I want to find myself on another continent because on my didn`t so far. I want to get to know new people and their personal stories. I`m looking for people who live different lives but love the same things and can help me to broad my mind and open my heart. I crave for long conversations, crazy parties and visiting incredible places.

PHILOSOPHY

People are your mirrors and teachers.

The universe conspires in helping you to be happy. Sometimes you just need to distance yourself to understand this.

Never do something permanently foolish just because you are temporarily upset.

You can't start the next chapter of your life if you keep re-reading your last one.

I always travel in the direction of my fear.

Interests

I`m pretty good at discussing serious or stupid issues, telling my personal stories and asking many questions about other people`s personal philosophies.
I`m also interested in things connected with my studies such as history, politics and international relations. I'm truly fascinated with philoophy, personal development and religions. So if know sth about this things I'd really love to talk with you.
Now, I want to emphasize that I not a nerd but just the opposite - parties, concerts, twerks, craziness, freedom are things that I need to feel happy :))

Music, Movies, and Books

I love electronic and rap music. At parties especially trap music, drum and bass, house and at home I like to listen calmer things like electropop, soul and downtempo. Lately I like to listen to James Blake, Frank Ocean, Chet Faker, Banks, Sza, Flume and some young rappers like Tayyib Ali, Chance The Rapper or Isaiah Rashad.
My favorite movies are psychological and costume. I adore "Twelve Monkeys", "Prestige", "Fight Club", "The Others" and novels of Jane Austen setting to movies. I also like comedies and horrors.
I`m big fan of HBO tv series like "Sex and the city" and historical series like "Tudors" or "Vikings". Like probably everybody I`m watching "Game of Thrones".
I`m fascinated by the books about self development and psychological issues. I also love polish literature like "The Doll" of Boleslaw Prus.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Teach, Learn, Share

Like I said before I`m still on way of looking for my passion. I love things and stories that inspire me to be active and positive person. Very important for me are self-realization and self-development.
I believe in destiny. Sometimes I have crises but only this belief prevent me regreting past situations and make them more clear.
It is great when people have a passion and their own value system. They can tell me new things and stories that will change my opinions and in that way give me some inspirations.
