After a very long period of time moving from place to place trying to find where it is I enjoy living the most - I realized that I haven't truly enjoyed living anywhere nearly as much as I did while in Germany back in 2010. There is something about Europe that I fell in love with, and It's about that time where I stop living the mundane lifestyle I've been putting up with, and start living again.

My name is Tom, and I'm originally from the Amish capital of America - Lancaster, Pennsylvania (no, I'm not Amish.) I have a very large family (five brothers and three sisters - including an identical twin brother) I'm an animal lover and I am a Photographer during the day and a bartender at night.

I have a few passions in life, one of which is traveling and experiencing everything different cultures have to offer. The other is Photography. In essence, I want to capture the beauty that this world has to offer while not having to worry about spending an arm and a leg! I also thoroughly enjoy helping others in any way possible, I get immense satisfaction knowing that I've helped someone with even the smallest of tasks.

I am a man of many trades. I've had jobs ranging from Starbucks store manager in California to VIP host at a Vegas nightclub to renovating a house in Louisiana to working for the Air Force in Germany and pretty much everything in between.

I'm a bit of a nomad at heart, and it's time I fulfill my everlasting desire to travel so I can stop saying "I really want to see that" and start saying "I can't believe I'm actually here".

Though it does not define me, I feel it is necessary to let hosts and the like know that I am openly gay. This is an important aspect of my life, and I don't want to feel like I need to hide it (unless its a legal issue like it is in Russia).

I would love to learn a language, preferably German, as well as learn how to play the bagpipe and other random goals. I love the outdoors, and I'm very adventurous. I am also a bit of an adrenaline junkie. I'm an extremely laid back guy, very personable but also very hard working when necessary.

I will be traveling on a limited budget, and I'll be documenting pretty much everything I'll be doing while traveling.
