About Me
Ahoy!
I'm quite curious and that's why I love to learn about history, politics and sociology. I'm from Slovakia, but I studied journalism in the United Kingdom (BA) and the Middle Eastern Studies in Sweden (MA).
I work as a journalist and translator in Bratislava, but I live in Modra. It's a nice small town where we drink a lot of wine and admire the nature.
I'm more than happy to show you around if you decide to come here!

Music, Movies, and Books
Books I loved are, for example, History of Bombing by Sven Lindqvist, Equus by Peter Shaffer, Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë and much more.
I like folk or electronic music, but I like to dance to pop music.
I prefer documentaries over films. Nevertheless, I loved Klaus by Sergio Pablos and Carlos Martínez López, Cold War by Pawel Pawlikowski, Tangerines by Zaza Urushadze, Thelma by Joachim Trier, Mommy by Xavier Dolan or Penelope by Mark Palansky.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I didn't give up.
And I adopted an amazing dog named Marley!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook something for you, either from Slovak cuisine or other, for example, I love Italian and Arab cuisine. Hummus is the best, but I adore pasta and also all kinds of curries, too. Mostly Thai curry though.
And the time, of course!
