About Me

I am Costa Rican Born, grown up in Norway, currently doing my MFA graduate degree at Pratt Institute in New York. I love exploring and engaging with new people, further connecting and sharing worldviews!

For many years I worked as an electrician back in my hometown, until I decided to dive into photography and art, a wonderful journey that has taken me to different cities in Norway and now across the Atlantic to the Big Apple, NYC. I many ways it feels like have lived many lives the past years.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am traveling alone and would love to meet people along the way! I of course enjoy to just explore places and their obvious must see sites, but if possible it would be amazing to meet someone who knows the area and that likes to connect with new people.

Meeting someone whos from where you are going is like a beautiful hack.

Interests

Everything is so interesting. I love watching movies, listening to new music that someone recommends you, tasting a new dish, going to an opening and meeting strange characters, like a sort of flaneuring I move through life and think that most everything has some interesting aspect to it!

Music, Movies, and Books

My late 90s, early 00s childhood gave me a love for thrillers, and the dark plot twisting movies. I came to realize I have read quite a few of Murakami`s books, his short stories are amazing!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I sometimes think about the time me and my mom were inside the great pyramid. The pharaoh wasnt there, and last year when i when to Louvre, the had just moved the mummy back to Egypt, so we were never meant to "meet" haha.

There are so many wonderful little moments that inform who I am, but they are better to share over food and drinks!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Enthusiasm for experience, great conversations, hopefully a different perspective and my time!
I can cook some lovely dishes!

Countries I’ve Lived In
