ABOUT ME
Hey!

My name is Betti, I'm 23 years old and I'm from the second biggest city in Hungary. It's called Debrecen.
I'm about to finish my degree in January in Budapest. I'm gonna be a chemist :) For my masters I'm planning to move somewhere else and discover another country ;)

Why chemistry?
When I had to choose what to study, I thought the best would be that if I do a job what I can do with pleasure. As women we use a lot of cosmetics (well actually not me but that doesn't change the fact that I'm a woman and we do like these stuff :D ) and I think I can find myself easily in this industry too. So I hope I can be one of the best cream maker (or anything else) one day.

~I was doing my studies in Leeds, UK for 6 months, where I was studying Chemistry at the Uni of Leeds within the confines of the Erasmus program. I spent my best best 6 months in Leeds as the people I've met there made it beautiful!

I like all kind of sports and I have tried a lot but I just love playing volleyball and I can't imagine my life without it. I play volley for 9 years.
Anyway besides this I did rafting in Italy and it was amazing, so someday I would love to try the other extreme sports too.

I'm really open-minded, I love meeting new people, and discover new places all over the world. Can't wait to know some people from other countries and discover their cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I started CS in 2016. I decided with my friend that we should go somewhere during the summer, so we visited few cities in Belgium. This is the best way to know well the country and the people who live there. I'm sure we can always show something new to each other.
During this trip, good and bad things happened to us too but all in all, it was one of my best choices so far. Our next choice is Portugal so be ready Portugal we are coming!!!!! ;)

Interests

Just to tell the truth I'm really obsessed with volleyball and that's why I'm always on the beach in the summer. You know just participate these little championships all over the country in Hungary.
Generally everyone asks me how can I really enjoy playing volleyball or just how can I really play because of my height... yes ok I'm 160 cm-s tall but I swear I jump high.. :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I learn French that's why I wanted to visit all alone France. I went there when I was 15, and just had an amazing 3 weeks in a little village called Saint Yorre. The people there were so friendly and nice to me. I was with other students from all over the world.
I was a volunteer there, we had to clean a park and it had to be renovated. I had so much fun there, if I could I'm sure I would go there again.
