About Me

Civil engineer, doing master in IT now. Leaping on as many occasions for discovering possible fields as my university and life can give me. Still searching for new inspirations for future career.

I'm friendly and open-minded. Kinda lazy but I think that's what helps me work more effectively (work smart, not hard).
Obsessed with maps. Before street view era, i would spend looong hours on browsing atlases and maps from all over the world, trying to create a picture of all those seemingly fantastic lands.
I always wanted to be an architect, did a lot of art drawing, eventually picked engineering. Designing highways right now. Really into different forms of transport, after all that's what helps all of us travel.
I did my Erasmus in Portugal, hoping to do an exchange once again!

In the first place I wanna discover more of US, Russia and central Asia, South America, Australia, Himalaya and Carribean.

I also love welcoming travellers in Warsaw, always considered it really interesting to look at the places I know well with foreigners' eyes. Feels like travelling even when you're staying at home :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

First and foremost, it really helps sinking in with local community. I'm always super excited about this cultural exchange and always when using CS, I've been meeting incredibly inspiring and surprising people.
Also, I'm always super happy to welcome anyone visiting Warsaw (or where I'm currently living) and share what I know about the city and try to make it as good as possible here.

Interests

Used to attend a drawing course once for few years, as I aimed to be an architect initially. And even tho I'm not one right now, that was an amazing experience. Currently I want to shape the transportation of the future and make it more ecological. Also wanna learn more about innovations and how to implement them in reality.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think that's drawing two maps of nonexistent cities in 1:20 000 scale. Why would I even do that, I dunno.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share my tips on travelling (I'm a comfy, but cheap traveller), my knowledge of Warsaw, Poland and Europe as a local here. I believe Warsaw is like an archipelago, there's plenty of amazing places scattered across the sea of mediocrity and you need a guide to navigate there.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm always super kind and respectful to anything the host does. Any host, not just CS host. So I surely won't ask more than it's polite and I'd hate to abuse someone's hospitality.
I can certainly share my company, as well as a gift from Poland, if you have any in your mind. :D

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Scotland, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine, United Kingdom, United States
