Hi everybody! My name is Carla and I'm from Tarragona, which you should definitely check out if you are into roman history and beautiful beaches. I graduated from uni last year (I'm a translator!) and before starting my masters I decided to travel around south america, where you can find me these days.

I would say that I'm a really easy-going person, who has a great curiosity and constantly looks for the unconventional. I'm truly fond of long stories told while drinking a beer (or more) and I love to discover new things, new food, new people, new music, new books... have I said food? I love cooking and eating dishes from all over the world, but I specially apreciate the mediterranean diet.

So, long story made short (because I'm getting tired of writing, I would tell you everything if it comes with the beer) I'm just a girl who wants to see the world and its people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I think that it's a great opportunity to get to know interesting people from al over the world, and I've always thought that no one can show you a place like someone who lives there (and that goes for hosting and for being host).

And also, let's be honest, because when I'm travelling my budget is pretty tight and CS is a perfect way to save some money.

Interests

I love everything that can be made outdoors, we need to make the most of this beautiful mediterranean weather isn't it?
I love going the beach and the mountain, partying, walking, etc. but I also love to stay inside and cook somthing delicious, open a bottle of wine and just chill. I think that the key to a beautiful life is to find the balance.

Music, Movies, and Books

For music, I love almost all kinds of it, just depends on the mood and the moment. One song that always makes me happy is Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da!

For movies, I like the ones that blow your mind, for example The usual suspects or The fight club.

When it comes to books, I've read many that I will always take with me, but I really couldn't pick just one or two :) Roghr now my mind is being blown away by Galeano and his book Las venas abiertas de America Latina.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Interrail with my flatmate and dearest friend Maria. We never actually bought the Interrail ticket, but it was the same idea, from Poland to Greece.

Be careful not to ask too many questions about it or you won't be able to talk about anything else for a while ;)

Teach, Learn, Share

I love sharing experiences and everything that I have to offer, as I usually say with my friends "compartir és viure" which means sharing is caring, and I'd also love to learn everything that you are ready to teach me, cause you never know if you like something if you don't try it first!
