Overview
About Me
Hey!
My name is Jens and I'm born in 1989 in Seesen, Lower Saxony, Germany - Next to the Harz Mountains :-)
A doubtful try of self-description:
- Positively focussed on creating the best outcome for all out of the given situation
- (At least trying) to remain relaxed under unpleasant conditions I can't (or just in long term) influence
- BUT: Always try to change what's in my "circle of impact"
- I'm an "alternating introvert". So I'm often open for meeting new people, but there are times where I'm looking to be on my own
I balance between my two passions:
New outside experiences (people, culture, traveling, ...) and
new inside experiences (insights in the areas of philosophy, psychology, system-theory, post-capitalistic alternatives, ...), which I'm able to combine in my (what others call) "job".
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I can't see any hotels from the inside anymore, looking all the same, being disconnected from the place I visit.
Couchsufing is the opposite for me: Putting people in the center and experience a more of the actual culture.
Interests
In general: I love to learn and get inspired by different perspectives from people who are passionate for their field(s) of interest. From "Archaeology" to "Zeno-Effect"

Music, Movies, and Books
As art is the best ways to "conserve" individual perspectives what counts for me is authenticity. I don't have "the one" favorite band or album, movie or book. I could maybe(!) find the one or the other piece of art within different genres (like "thrash metal" or "specialised literature")... But.. nah.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Lately - together with two friends: Getting a 33 years old Volkswagen LT28 camper back on the road <3
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm open to share knowledge about "structured problem solving" - Which works great in nearly all areas of life (personal issues, interpersonal quarreling, situations at work, ...)
My cooking skills are also "quiet ok" :-D
What I Can Share with Hosts
My time.
Examples: Conversations, sharing experiences, doing things together (cooking, fixing the sink, ...)
