My friend hosted an Austrian Andi , I found it very interesting cultural wise and language wise as I am Afrikaans , I enjoyed the experience and we have become friends. I like the idea behind couch surfing and thus I decided to become a host so I can show people around LOCAL style and also make new friends and learn new things :)
