I'm August and I'm an interaction designer from Texas who's been living in Los Angeles for about 6 years now. I'll be in Denmark, Germany, and Switzerland this summer for some classes and exploring with my partner, very excited!

Play, Community, and Growth are pretty much the most important things to me, and I feel like travelling and meeting people perfectly encompasses all of those! Looking to have a more meaningful experience with my travels than just staying at a hostel or AirBnB.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I won a gold medal in the 2012 U.K. Olympic Expo games, playing Quidditch for Team USA.

I love skill-sharing and lesson trading! Very down to teach/learn almost anything!

Can offer lessons in dance, writing, tech hardware, basic coding, capoeira, English, and a lot of other things.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Very important to me to contribute to the host environment in some way, whether that be cooking a meal, cleaning, or some other way of showing gratitude through service.
