Overview
About Me
The Cycle to Farms project is an advocacy project which aims to document different farmers’ realities across EU, the Middle East and Africa, while cycling from farm to farm.
Aisha and I have started the Cycle to Farms project, from the place where we studied (Wageningen University and Research) and are heading towards Tanzania. The total trip is around 7000 km.
WHY: Many problems in the food system that we experience today have their roots in how we treat our soil, how we grow our food and what we eat. Therefore, we need to discuss sustainable agricultural practices that could make changes to the food system as we know it now.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
During our bike travel we would love to interact with local people as much as we can, find new friends and share our story.
Interests
We studied in the Netherlands, where we fell in love with cycling and bike traveling. Also, our studies opened our eyes about the environment we are living in, the nature as a living being. Our mission greatly aligns and combines both of these interests.
