About Me

Hi, I'm a traveler who embarked on a journey around the world in August 2023! My interests span across physics, geology, economics, engineering, human biology, physiology, psychology, and persuasion. When it comes to sports, I enjoy rock climbing, enduro mountain biking, and hiking in the mountains. I have a particular fascination with topics like radiology, atomic physics, and quantum physics. I love getting to know people, spending time with them, and I have an open mind that welcomes new experiences. I enjoy traveling by scooter, hitchhiking, taking buses and trains, and hiking in the mountains. I have a deep appreciation for mountains and spending time in nature. Additionally, I frequently visit museums of technology, science, and history. I'm excited to connect with people from various cultures and backgrounds during my travels. Let's share experiences and create meaningful connections.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I love meeting new people and spending time with them. It's not just about making new friends for me; it's also an opportunity to immerse myself in different cultures and get to know local residents who often provide the best insights into a country, its culture, and hidden, off-the-beaten-path places that aren't typically accessible to tourists. Couchsurfing, to me, is the perfect way to have authentic travel experiences that leave unforgettable memories.

Interests

My greatest passion lies in economics, business, and finance. However, I'm equally drawn to highly technical subjects such as physics, with a particular fascination for radiology. What captivates me most is the human being itself, which is why I pursued a degree in biomedical engineering. I currently work as an investor, and I must say, it's become a significant area of interest for me.

I also engage in a variety of sports because I relish diversity. I have no need to excel in any particular sport; I simply enjoy what I do. My activities include martial arts like Muay Thai for personal security, winter sports like mountain hiking, cross-country skiing, ski touring, and, most importantly, snowboarding. During the summer, I cycle, hike in the mountains, and indulge in sport climbing.

Music, Movies, and Books

When I was younger, I used to listen to a lot of rap music, but nowadays, my preference leans heavily towards classical and tranquil music. However, lately, I've found solace in silence, appreciating the beauty of quiet moments.

In the realm of movies, I'm particularly drawn to adventurous films that provoke thought, with intricate plots and unexpected twists. As for books, I'm quite eclectic in my choices, delving into various fields of science and life because I'm inherently curious about the world around us

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the coolest things I've ever done was hitchhiking across the whole of Canada. It was like an epic adventure where I met so many interesting people and had lots of exciting experiences. I got to see all the different parts of the country up close.

What made it even more amazing was how kind and friendly the people I met were. They opened their homes and hearts to me, and it taught me the value of kindness. Now, I try to pass on that kindness to others, just like it was given to me during my journey.

Teach, Learn, Share

I believe in lifelong learning. One way I teach others is through patience, understanding, and an open mind. I understand that every culture and every person has their unique way of thinking, and I'm ready to accept that. While teaching others, I also learn a lot myself, creating a cycle of mutual sharing of knowledge and experiences.
