ABOUT ME

I am a Mexican girl, I have 26 years and I do not feel old yet. I started traveling alone since I was 18 years and since then it has become one of the priorities on which to spend the little money I have. I want to visit all of the continents before I turn 28 years old (just missing 2). I'm from Mexico City (yes!! the one with more than 20 million persons! Crazy!) but currently I live in the north of my country in a city with the most fickle weather of the world. It is called Monterrey. There, I am studying a Master in Sciences. What I liked the most about doing this master is that almost none of my colleagues is mexican! so now I have many foreign friends, mostly Colombians and Ecuadorians. What I miss the most about Mexico City is the wide variety of cultural activities, the food, and my kitty Macareno - I love cats - (of course my parents and friends, too). Besides traveling, the other two things that I like is to dance and eat. People think I like to exercise because they may see me working out frequently, but really, I only do it because I´ve already mentioned how I love to eat and not feel guilty, nor limited with the diet and discover new flavors and foods from around the world. What I like to dance is flamenco and aerial dance (with the silks). The truth is that everything in my life is good so that makes me a very happy and enthusiastic person, I love meeting new people but I do not like those that are very pretentious, I consider myself an easygoing person. Since I have roomies, I understand and appreciate the concept of sharing space and respect as well as the cleaning. I also love to read and watch movies.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I currently live in Monterrey city (Mexico north side). I share the apartment with two female roomies, so I find it difficult to host people since we are already several for a small place. I also travel a lot for consultant work and to visit my parents who live in another city. However I will be very happy and glad to take anyone who comes to Monterrey to the tourist places and maybe some students parties.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never really done couchsourfing, however my boyfriend has done it several times as well as other friends and they all agree that is the best way to travel because you know the place from the point of view of very nice people and make valuable friends that share the love for traveling.

I LOVE to dance, finding new music from all around the world, and to read. I like to work out, going out for walks. I can't live without coffee, and an occasional dark chocolate. I enjoy food, and new combinations and récipes. I also enjoy cooking.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to learn anything related to any kind of dance and I would be able to teach a little bit of flamenco and aerial silks as well as some Spanish lessons since it is my native language.
