I'm Kate, from Czech republic, 21 y.o. and my mission is to enjoy my life, get to know new cool people and learn things I didn't know before. And be happyyy

Currently I study in Pardubice (faculty of arts and philosophy) and I study English ( I still make mistakes, but who doesn't?) and Religion (I'm an atheist, though I assume it provides me an open-mindedness).

I love animals, especially cats, I have one cat of my own and we fostered 2 cats. I love baking and also cooking (so I can cook something for you if you want). Currently I'm a volunteer in Hodina H, a nonprofit organisation, and I'm a mentor of some EVS participants. I also help some of them with their English.
For some time in the past I was a member of the Czech Red Cross (youth) and I 'teached' the first aid. I used to play piano, but I had to stop, because of the lack of time.
I work as a waitress and a barmaid at weddings during weekends.

About my boyfriend, who is traveling with me

Honza, 23 y.o., living in a lovely small village, studying in Prague on the Charles University, Catholic Theological faculty, the history of European culture.
Loves watching movies (more than one thousand movies seen and rated), going to the cinema and listening to the music. He also plays football and pingpong.
Speaks English and knows some basics of French. Also loves cats and good food that I cook for him. He's very fond of watching the athletics, football,..almost every sport on TV. Favorite team is AC Milan and SK Slavia Prague.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because instead of paying someone for the accommodation I can bring you a souvenir from my country and you can show me your city from your view! And also because I'd love to travel..And couchsurfing is a great opportunity to go somewhere, have a place to stay and (mainly for me-I hope most of cs) share experience with new people.

My funny company I think? Or any knowledge I have (I have some, I really do! :D ) I can also offer my cooking skills (not so bad I think, better than my mom's) and make us a dinner.
