ABOUT US

We are a couple for four years now and live together in a flat in Cologne.
The third resident is our cat, Moomin.

What more to say about us?
We won't describe us as an common couple. We don't have to make every step together, are quite uncomplicated, have a black humour and we love to laugh about ourselves.

Kathi (born 1984) grew up in Nettetal (Western Germany), close to the dutch border.
But now I am living in Cologne, already for seven years now.
I was working with social jobs so far, right now I am working for a private day-care centre.

Björn was born in a little German seaside town at the Baltic Sea in 1981.
From this day on me and my family moved quite often within Northern Germany and Denmark because of my father’s studies and some job-changes during his first years as an employee.
So I grew up in several places in Northern Germany and Southern Denmark.

After finishing my studies I spend three years in Sweden, so you can already see that I was quiet focused on the Nordic countries so far.
But now I am very established in Cologne, what I can call my hometown for six years now. There I am working in the sales department of a big private railway-company.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It's our first couchsurfing-trip actually but we got only positive feedback from friends, who did it before.

Interests

We love the Nightlife in Cologne, dancing, bicycle tours at the weekend, having a nice time with friends, nice food, GoT, taking pictures with our Lomography-cameras and of course travelling around the world during our vacation.

Only Björn: football (playing for fun, watching, groundhopping), jogging, drinking beer.
