Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really like the idea of staying with a person who is familiar with a city or an area, can give advices and adds a personal, human touch to a place. Since I think traveling the world is one of the best educations one can get, I welcome and support the idea of making it more affordable for everyone. However, until now I haven't tried it, so I cannot speak out of my own personal experience. But I am planning to change that soon! :)
