About Me

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I did try it a couple of times, less than I wanted I think. I like the idea.

Interests

I like music a lot, I dont think i could live without it. Specially some styles of rock. I enjoy playing guitar too. I like to speak about sciences and politics, though it's sort of thing people always desagree.

Music, Movies, and Books

Currently I'm reading the second book of King Killer's Chronicle, The Wise Man's Fear. I'm simply loving it and it's the first time i took a book as big as this to read in English.

Well, I like a lot of styles of music, but mostly rock. Hardcore, emocore, post-rock, math-rock, and related are among my favorite. I also enjoy more classic stuff. Some jazz is good at times too. There's a lot of other stuff I sympathize but do not really listen by myself.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climb the Fuji. I decided to go despite my friend wouldn't. I was hangover and did not sleep well that night either, hahaha. I was not prepared. I did not have proper equipment or cloths, it was summer, almost one month The climbing was done at night and i didn't even have a proper flashlight with me. I ended up following two japonese old men, that stopped and lent me one flashlight of their own and let me follow then. It was hard, and normally i would complain about these things, but i had no one to complain to and in the end, when we got to the top it was marvelous. The sunrise there was simply the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. It was worth it. I forgot about the cold and enjoyed every second.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I live in the suburbs of São Paulo. It's probably not the best place for travelers because the distance of the city center will make you lose sometime. On the other hand it has a train station and bus at waking distance (5 minute walk), so is easy to come and go.
