About Me
ABOUT ME
I am from Brazil and I am in the United States since January, participating of an one-year exchange program. I am currently studying Industrial Engineering at Cal Poly, in San Luis Obispo (CA), which is a lovely city.
In Brazil, I studied in a countryside city which is 50 minutes away from my home town, where I usually spent my weekends with my family and friends.
I have two sisters with whom I could learn a lot during my life. We three are totally different in personality, we have different preferences and think in very different ways. My older sister studied fashion and today she is a make-up artist. I am an Engineering major and my youngest sister is in the first year of Psychology college. Thus, with them I learnt how to understand and admire the differences and to love people how they really are.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have a friend in San Luis Obispo that had some experiences with CS, in Brazil and also here in the US. He told me his experiences and showed me how amazing it is.
Interests
One of my biggest passions is traveling. I love to visit new places, new people and new culture. I've already been in a lot of different cities in Brazil in addition to 10 different countries around the world. The point is that I usually travel with my family, staying in hotels and doing tourist tours. But while living here in the US, I am more interested in really ingress in the American culture and live different experiences. That is why I am interested in CouchSurfing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've travelled to a lot of different places and keep all of them in my memory. I will never forget the Eiffel Tower, the Vatican, the Colosseum, my swim with dolphins in Mexico, the first time that I saw snow in Bariloche and my trips to Amsterdam and Hawaii. They are my favorites!
One of my biggest achievements in life was this scholarship to study here in the US for one year, with all the expenses paid by the Brazilian government.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you some Portuguese words and also share some Brazilian culture and food (you can eat the best dessert of your life, "brigadeiro"!).
