ABOUT ME

Hi guys,

I hope you are excited about your trip !

(you guys and gals can be gay catholic muslim jewish black yellow rich poor, you are welcome in my home anyway. What I care about is you being a respectful and tidy and sharing person when you come. I shall certainly be when I come at your place :)

I've lived in Paris for 12 years now, and I know the city quite well, and I moved to Tours three years ago. The place is very nice :) I know where to have a drink and I already have a bunch of friends here you can meet. I'm not a nightclub guy but if you talk me into it maybe I can take you somewhere :) I like to sit in parks, and have some drinks with my friends while playing music or board games... I'm not a musician but I am a musical person for sure. I'm not a weed smoker I stopped 7 years ago but many of my friends are so if you like it you won't get lost. I am a very flexible guy, I do geek stuff as well as the total opposite, I am very sociable. My computer is a war machine so if you like to play games or if you wish to do some video/photo editing you are welcome to use it. We must have something in common :) Don't hesitate to share your passions with me !

I'm also used to nature. Scotland, Brazil and Vietnam are the most beautiful landscape I have seen until now. I would love to go to all the beautiful countries I've heard about and HIKE there.

I like travelling by any means: feet, bike, bus, plane, car... I am also looking forward to traveling by motorcycle.

Most people do not SEE their life go by. But I really do see it and scary as it is it gives me a lot of energy and strength to travel and discover before it is too late.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well I host as well as I'm being hosted. From july 2014 to august 2014 I was doing a fifty days bike trip from France to Finland with one of my best friends, Henri, and he has got all the references from our hosts on his couchsurfing profile , all positive, so check it out ( https://www.couchsurfing.org/profile.html?id=5HMNCAVLA ) :) I also welcomed some travellers in my home in Paris, the references are here.

Interests

The thing I love most and do best is socialize.
I don't have types of music, I can like any kind, even if almost all the time the stuff one can hear on the radio or mtv gives me nausea,
watching movies, I like any kind of movies,
doing some sport even if I am not skilled at any,
drinking GOOD ale, partying, laughing, learning,
I have a particular affection for Fantasy litterature, and I also read classic litterature (like Dostoïevski not so long ago), history, theatre...

That is complicated ! I love Chuck Berry but I also enjoy fat and dirty french rap... I love good ol' movies but I also enjoy stupid action movies... I really do not stand at one place in particular. Let's just talk about it live ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Approaching two meters from an eating red wolf in a natural reserve in Brazil (I know, it is a stupid idea),
riding an elephant, riding a dromedary,
walking on a desertic island,
crawling into the tunnels the vietcongs used to surprise the americans and try the weapons they used on the field, in a camp near Ho Chi Minh city,
visiting Angkor Wat,
walking on the turkish and armenian border, wish is a huge pit surrounded on each side by observation towers no doubt occupied by snipers,
riding my bycicle from Paris to Helsinki in 2014 while couchsurfing,
almost freeze to death near Inverness, Scotland,
visiting Brazil a lot and discover a family there, to the point I now have a Brazilian ID.
