CURRENT MISSION
Currently busy writing yet another social network's own profile.
ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Ben.
I can't believe it's already been 4 years since I came back home from what I call 'THE' trip: almost three years travelling around Asia. And now, I feel the time has come to experience again the thrill of travelling and living the unemployed life. And eastern Europe picked me this time.
I am a few weeks away from quiting my job and saying 'hasta luego' to everything. Yes, I'm so freaking nervous.
By the way, I'm a nice average guy with good sense of humour, don't belong to any specific urban group/tribe, pretty 'normal' I'd say (whatever 'normal' means). I'm easy to get along with, you'll see.
Not the kind of person who would ask someone I've just met: "so... what do you do?" Not really interested in how all of us sell our labour in order not to have an empty fridge. I am a modest and compassionate human being.
Proud to be an ATTAC member.

PHILOSOPHY
I have a radical view about how our world is supposed to work. Social justice and environmental sustainability are capital ideas among my set of values. I love our planet.

Music, Movies, and Books
Growing up in the 80s makes almost impossible not to love Star Wars, Indy, Back to the Future, Ghostbusters, (blah blah blah.. this could go for hours).
Some favourite directors: Coen Brothers, Scorsese, Woody Allen, Terrence Malick, Wes Anderson, Tim Burton, Darren Aronofsky, Jim Jarmusch, Richard Linklater, Spielberg, Kubrick, David Lean, Clint Eastwood, etc.
Reading Joyce's Ulises -> one of the best experiences of my life. I've read Lao Tse's Tao Te Ching a dozen times. In love with Russian literature.
Fav. authors: Torrente Ballester, Dickens, Tolstoi, Nietzsche, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Marx, Proust, Balzac, Beat Generation, Foster Wallace, etc.
