ABOUT ME

Hello there,

I have spent the last year in Holland, Maastricht but have moved to Vienna just recently. I am only beginning to explore this city but I am excited about all the possibilities and experiences it beholds.

PHILOSOPHY

It's hard to explain when you don't have a real person in front of you and also because it changes as I grow older. Generally I'd say: love, generosity and helpfulness (even though I was thinking about that a lot lately).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I cannot show anybody around really because I don't know about good places myself. I am going to have to check with my roommate about hosting but if you need a place to stay I'll see what I can do.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed on two couches and acted as one tour guide in good 'ol Maastricht. I have also hosted some people in my flat in Vienna.

Interests

I like to do things that make me feel good but are also challenging sometimes. I play a little bit of Ukulele, I am going to join the choir here in Vienna and I want to take up bouldering. I have also practiced Yoga the last year.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really like record stores and I like buying CDs, I also have a stereo at home. I like to listen to slow and chill vibes and have gotten a tiny bit into Jazz.
The past couple of months I went to see a lot of movies in the movie theater and I think I have suffered a bit of an 'overkill' and I'm taking a bit of a break from movies. I'm not really a book snob. I enjoy kids books sometimes and biographies and novels. It all depends on the style of writing and vividness of the story. However, I found that a lot of times I can't read more than one book of the author unless its a sequel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got to participate in a theater production that was set in a little meadow outside of Maastricht. They were experimenting with lights, shadows and reflexions of the pond. I got to stand on a bullwark and could watch the play from above, seeing the lights.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you the basics of knitting.
I love making and eating pizza but it never turns out exactly the way I imagine it. So if you could teach me how to make a killer pizza dough I'd be in heaven.

Countries I’ve Visited

Czech Republic, England, France, Hungary, Indonesia, Italy, Mexico, Switzerland

Countries I’ve Lived In
