Hi you all, I'm a young student with a desire to see some bits and bites of our world. I can share my student room with travelers to discover Ghent, a vibrant, young and inspiring city in Belgium.
I only have one condition! That you allow me to draw a portrait, face, full figure, ... at some point in your visit. Because I really really love to draw!

I'm able to host mostly in the weekends but do need to schedule in a guest a bit in advance, at least two weeks or so 'cause I have quite a busy schedule myself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

People just make me happy, all kinds of people. Especially people that want to tell stories and share life together, even if it's just once. That's plenty to learn and love whatever the reason is we're here on this beautiful earth.

Interests

I'm a calm, curious and sensitive person. I enjoy the details over the big image.
I studied Visual Arts with a major on drawing for one year and am currently studying Language and Literature at Ghent University. I have great interests in literature, theatre, music, politics, cooking, philosophy and everything social. I'm down to earth but also very dreamy, eager to meet new interesting people and I enjoy profound conversations and friendships.

Music, Movies, and Books

I Like jazz, electronic, minimal techno, downtempo, ambient, blues, (electro)swing and instrumental music with an edge.
My favourite movies are Moonrise Kingdom, Amélie and Mr. Nobody. And I'm a big fan of Danish series like Borgen, the Bridge/Bron/Broen and Arvingerne/The Legacy.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm all about sharing a personal view on the world, talking about philosophy and society, sharing experiences about happiness and sadness and enjoying the simple things in eachothers company. Cooking/baking together or taking long walks/bike rides around the city/nature are things I love to do. I find getting to know someone personally very important, and that's exactly what I want to do while travelling or hosting.
