I am an open minded and energetic person. I love to travel and meet people from all over the World.
I spent most of my life in Germany but came to Canada in Summer 2014 and now live in Vancouver with my girlfriend Jenny.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think Couchsurfing is an awesome way to meet interesting people from many different places. When travelling it is way more fun to stay at a local's place instead of going to a hostel or sth, especially when you're travelling alone.
By now I made only great experiences and met some really special people.

Interests

I'm really interested in nature and animals, especially birds ans reptiles. I enjoy birding and to discover what fascinating features flora and fauna has to offer wherever I am.
I love to travel the world and experience different countries and their people, culture and so on.
I always was an outdoor guy and love to hike, go biking, skateboarding or just play a round soccer in the park.
Reading a good book, going to concerts or festivals or just hanging out with friends are also things I really enjoy.

Music, Movies, and Books

If I have to choose one favourite book I would pick 'Momo' written by Michael Ende, which is actually a book for kids but I can really recommend it to anybody as it definitely let you think about what you make with the time you have in your life. It tells the story of Momo a child that is on a journey to bring the time back to the people that has been stolen by the time thiefs :)
In general I prefer reading Biographies and non-fiction books.

I don't have a favourite band or type of music but enjoy listen to several genres such as Rock, Reggae, German and American HipHop of the older days, Minimal, Psychedelic Trance or Lounge

I am not the biggest movie person but love the old classics like Pulp Fiction as well as Danish movies because of their special sence of humour.
More into documentaries and hate all those TV shows...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One moment was definitely seeing the Machu Pichu in Peru and beeing suddenly surrounded by a group of Orcas on a small boat between Vargas and Meares Island in Clayoquot Sound.
Another was the moment when i decided to quit my Job and go travelling.
