My name is Daan, 23 years old and I'm a realistic painter/drawer from the Netherlands. I like to draw on the road with my book and pen, usually at places where people come to make music, art or just to talk about life in all it's curiosity.
I'm an open minded person who likes to put a question in all that's around us. Only then you can understand :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have started travelling a few years ago, mostly by train and hitchhiking. This because I have been searching for a way to combine my painting/drawing with my passion for being on the move. By doing so, I can enrich myself with new impressions of people and cultures. I usually trade my drawings for staying at people's homes. Actually, this is a sort of couchsurfing idea. I believe it is awesome to stay at people's homes overnight who share their thoughts of their neighborhood, their culture, and their personal worldview :)
