About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Be a part - a tiny one - of what Culture could be referred as

ABOUT ME

I was borned and raised in a somehow progressive family with egalitarian values. I consider myself a punk/metal geek, but I'm a big fan of world music. History is for me as much of an intellectual interest as a moral damp. I like gardening. I believe into a radically democratic and decentralized socialism. I love pating my dog, thats like opium with hair (R.I.P.). I studied in a leftift microcosm. I drink maple syrup on a regular basis. I love cycling.

"...un homme se définit aussi bien par ses comédies que par ses élans sincères."
-Albert Camus

"Music is both my biggest passion and my biggest escape"
-Bobgan Chiochiu

"Only what four eyes can see is undoubtedly true"
-Ludwig Feuerbach

"Philosophers have hitherto only interpreted the world in various ways; the point is to change it"
-Karl Marx

"On va botter l'cul de tous les patrons"
-Michel Chartrand

PHILOSOPHY

Tolerance and respect are some very important social axioms for me, unless I'm around intolerant and disrespectful people.
I like to think discussion is a great way to create social ties, but there are many other social practices that are not regarded in that matter.
I like to deviate from my thoughts the things I assume generally acquired; let's intellectually deconstruct everything!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing is not only a virtual space that gave me an opportunity to discover cities with locals in a very personal way, it also is a community of cosmopolitan joy-driven people

I have done WWOOFing in the past.

Interests

I would not have much motivation if it wasn't for arts, music and litterature in the first place.
I enjoy talking about socio-political issues and confronting my own prejudices to ideals.
I like biking under the rain and running on new-york-style hardcore punk in the forest, cause everyone loves mosh-runnin' under the trees.
I like cooking with people. Not as ingredient.

I try to make each encounter a collegial encounter, where all that emerges is intersubjective knowledge.

It'd be nice to have a jam in your/my living room!
