À propos de moi

I'm 24 and I'm currently studying my master program in Film and Media studies at the University of Copenhagen.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I truly believe couchsurfing is a great thing. It's not only about saving money (which is pretty nice though, isn't it?) but also about meeting new people and getting to know new culture.

Personally, I love spending my time with locals, to stop being a tourist and find places you hardly can find on your guide.

Centres d'intérêt

One of my favourite quote ever is the one from Dostoevskij's "The Idiot": "The beauty will save the world". I truly believe it.
That's why I'm interested in art and all that is related to aesthetics and beauty: paintings, sculptures, architecture, photography, music, literature and cinema.

Honestly, I'm kinda addicted to cinema. I could talk about movies for hours and never get bored. Some of the directors I love mostly: Godard, Fellini, Rossellini, De Sica, Pasolini, Herzog, Bergman, Straub&Huillet, Tarr, Bresson, Resnais, Ackerman, Loach, Bertolucci, Truffaut, Kaurismäki, Kieslowski, Tarkovskij, and I'll stop here cause the list is almost endless!

I'm also interested in philosophy and in the Eastern thought and spiritualness in particularly. When I have some time, I try to meditate and to get closer to Buddhist spiritualness.

Lately, I've been volunteering for an association and teaching Italian to immigrant people; that's because I think everyone deserves to be treated as human being, and we need to help people who are -most of the time-forced to leave their home because of war, hunger, poverty.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I mostly like songwriters, both Italian (Guccini, De André, Lolli) and international (Leonard Cohen, Jacques Brel, Nick Drake, Tom Waits).
I'd say I'm what you can call an old soul, and I love music from the past; whenever I hear some soul or jazz music, I can't help and start dancing.
I never get bored of classical rock music though and I kinda get interested in many other types of music quite easily.

I do love reading books, some of my favourite books come from this bunch of authors: Pasolini, Sartre, De Beauvoir, Calvino, Dostoevskij, Pavese, Marai, Beckett, Bellow.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I spent one semester in Oslo, Norway. It has been such a great experience! I met amazing people and visited so many special sites. I will never forget spending one night in Tromsø watching the northern lights (and barely freezing to death!).

Four summers ago I spent a whole month touring nearing all the Europe with five friends of mine. We did so many amazing things all over the countries we visited, including spending one whole night in front of the toilet door on a train and getting lost in Paris.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I'd love to share with my guests and hosts as much as possible. When I fall in love with a place, I try my best to make my guests falling in love with it as well.
(Also, I know how to make pizza, pasta, or a lot of other Italian food, and that's never a bad thing)

I would say I'm a very open-minded person, I'll appreciate whatever you can share with me and teach me!
