Hi! I am Marie-Noëlle, a french Canadian who has a strong desire to discover our big world, to open my mind as i am meeting different cultures, to learn new skills and to explore amazing landscapes!

I love being in nature, like hiking on a mountain, diving in a lake or simply gardening :)

One of the thing that I most like in life is music and dance, even more when it is in a new country.

Finally, I love sharing great conversations with locals people and travellers, as I am always open for a good laugh in any languages!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I travel, I like to take my time to learn more about one place and its people.
I prefer «slow travelling» and getting out of the touristic track ;)
The world is hiding beautiful treasures and I feel I can get closer to those with Couchsurfers!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was studying management at the university, I had to do an internship. We had a list of jobs where we could apply and I applied to few of them. There was one that was in Cameroon, in Africa. I did not have enough years of university to apply, but I applied to it anyway, as a joke with my sister. Finally, the joke became real because I was the only student over hundred of us to apply to this internship... Few weeks later, I was in Africa working and living there for 4 months, an experience that has changed me for my whole life.
Sometime headbutt can bring you to do scary, crazy but most of it, amazing things! Since then, I have never stop to follow my intuition and to have guts, even if for the others it looks like a joke ;)
