ABOUT ME

I am from Brazil. I have been studying in the United States for a year, in California. I love to travel and meet new people and culture. It is hard to describe myself, once I am a person in constant change. I would say that I am an open minded person. This characteristic allows me understand, accept and adapt to situations, people, habits and places more easily than the others. I changed my mindset with this experience in USA and now I can balance things in a distance that allows me logically think instead of closing me in an emotional bubble :D
In addition to that I have worked for the non profit organization called GRID alternatives that helps low income families get solar energy. It reduces their energy bills, contribute to the reduction of fossil fuel energy and also employs people. Now is part of my new mindset ;D

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in being thankful for everything, because even the bad situations can teach us something. I believe in being respectful with our parents, other's cultures and our planet.

I can contribute by opening my dorm to interesting people. I can also bring stories, experiences and some cooking skills to my future hosts :D

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I sought chouchsurfing because I believe in the idea behind travel, host different people and share experience .This way we create a net that helps people achieve their dreams and also add value from other's experiences.

兴趣

I like to talk, take pictures, to cook Brazilian Food *-*, I love to watch people playing guitar, I like to watch movies, to help people when needed but what I like the most is to make a difference in people's life by helping to overcome some difficulty or fear of something and make them discover the best part they have in themselves.

I like pop, indie, electronic and light rock music. I love Popular Brazilian Music. I love to watch movies and reading too.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

The biggest achievement in my life was this 1-year exchange program all paid for the Brazilian govern which allowed me learn more than the books can give !

教，学，和分享

I offer my knowledge and expericence as a Brazilian. I can teach Portuguese. I can offer my cooking skills (I can cook brigadeiro and Pao de Queijo :D). I can show my experience in the United States and SLO around. I can give hints of places, prices when traveling.
I would like to learn more about other cultures and cooking. I am interested in German, Japanese and Mandarin languages.
