ABOUT ME

Heya I'm Anna from Germany and I'm currently living and studying in Rostock. After travelling Australia for two years I decided to settle for while and get my degree in Physiotherapy done. I'm easy going and always up for a good laugh, a glass of wine and chilled out company. Traveling is my passion and I also love kitesurfing, yoga and all things outdoors.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that one can call many places their homes. People are not meant to stay in one place all their life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like being around new people and getting to know their lifestyle and culture, that's why I decided to sign up for CS. I think it's great to actually get to know the locals of a country and hear about their story. I first heard of CS when I came over to Australia and in my opinion it is one of the best platforms ever created, bringing together travellers and locals. I can't wait to be able to open my house to travellers myself one day and experience it the other way round, as I am only surfing at the moment.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been surfing a few times now and had mostly really lovely experiences so far. I've met incredible people that made me feel very welcomed in their home and I am very thankful for that as it makes my travels even better!

兴趣

As I said I love travelling, meeting new people and explore the world. I'm also into fitness and sports, I enjoy cooking a reading a good book. I am an outdoor kind of person and I love being active.
I also got really used to the Australian way of life, so I enjoy having a beer, get together with friends and putting on a barbecue much more than going clubbing.

One amazing thing I've done was to dive with big Manta rays in the Komodo national park in Indonesia.
