Overview
About Me
I've grown up in Tasmania, where I'm currently studying a Bachelor of Psychology. I've just completed the third year of my degree and will be starting Honours in 2016, though I'm looking forward to squeezing in a bit of travel time in the interim! I'm a sociable person and enjoy meeting new people, so please send me a message if you'd like to meet up!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm completely new to Couchsurfing and decided to join prior to heading to New Zealand for the summer. I've previously hosted travellers that I've simply happened to meet, though never through the Couchsurfing organisation. I look forward to using Couchsurfing as an opportunity to meet locals while I'm away and in developing a deeper insight into the areas that I'm visiting, as well as perhaps doing some more hosting throughout 2016!
Interests
I love both playing and listening to music. I enjoy blues, classic rock, funk, jazz, soul, and reggae just to name a few!
I play the guitar as well as the chromatic & diatonic harmonica, though I'm still interested in learning a few more instruments (maybe mandolin next).
I love bushwalking and exploring new places, as well as other outdoor & adventure activities.
I also love to read, relax, or just drink a few beers in good company!

What I Can Share with Hosts
I'd like to consider myself as an affable person, so I think the very least I could offer is some friendly conversation and good company!
I also love to share knowledge I've learnt from my degree with those who are interested. Psychology is an extremely broad discipline so if you're curious about aspects of cognition, social psychology, neuroscience, clinical psychology or whatever then I'd be happy to share!
I enjoy cooking too, so if you'd like we can cook together. And if you're into music then I'm always up for a jam!
