About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To immerse myself in the warm embrace of adventure and possibility.

ABOUT ME

I am currently a student in communication sciences and film. I love making questions and looking for answers through what I love the most. Exploring and discovering new things is something that moves me. Even though life might seem boring at times I always try to think towards excitement, the truth is I live excited about many things. Everyday I try to become a better man through what I have learnt, I believe any moment is a good time to start.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't be afraid of failure, don't be afraid of success, don't be afraid of trying.
Devote earnestly to what you believe.
And so much more.

Interests

My list of interests grows and grows with every passing year.
But for now:
Life, snowboarding, adventure, languages, meeting new people, learning, working out, being healthy, poetry, film, vinyls, playing instruments, photography, serendipity, discovery, TV shows, museums, parkour, gymnastics, forests, the ocean, etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love foreign, independent films, but I also enjoy a commercial blockbuster. Of my favourite directors are: Danny Boyle, David Fincher, Ridley Scott, Chan Wook Park, Lars Von Trier, Tarantino (you love him or hate him), and more.
As for music: different genres, different languages.

Julio Cortázar and Mario Benedetti are my latin american literature heroes.

I'm always happy to share music, movies and books with people!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Snowboarded through different locations in the States. My mind goes back specifically to one moment, in a course called "Sunset", when the sun was going down, I was at the top of the mountain riding, music on; beautiful view.

Seen: Good people's smiles, what my family has done for me, love, a new day rising.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: Spanish, of course! Basic gymnastics, about experiences, Guitar, bass and ukulele (we can play together in a temporary band), about Mexican food (believe me, this is worth knowing), about my country and culture, and more!

Learn: I'm all for learning new tricks in this life, from gymnastic and parkour tricks to life hacks and easier and interesting ways to do stuff. I am also a language addict, anything you can teach me from your language and culture would be amazing and much appreciated. I'm open to learning mostly anything good you can teach me.

Share: Our experiences, ideas, and thoughts. Film reviews (perhaps?), perspectives, and anything that will come to our minds in the midst of conversation.
