About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I am collecting the stories about socio-political regulations of romantic love in different countries and contexts, cause hardly any of us and hardly any love is free from social hierarchies or community pressures.

ABOUT ME

Passionate hitch-hiker and clumsy dancer. I love people. I love loneliness. I love beer. I love olives. I love thirsty orange landscape of overwhelming nothing. A moon is my lovely friend. I laugh so much and so loudly. I dream about a fair world. Yes, you guessed it right, I am a feminist leftie.

PHILOSOPHY

To move. To get even to the edge (but not to fall over). To listen. To resist (especially if capitalist and patriarchal structures are at stake which they always are).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Couchsurfing is an implication of my philosophy and thoughts into practise. Sometimes you give. Sometimes you get. Anyway - you always share.

I loved to host, but unfortunately right now I cannot host anyone as I am staying in a flat, where visitors are not allowed.

By the way, while I do travel a lot, I don't like people who count the countries they have visited so far and who show this amount off as a jewellery. Genuine experience is not something you can count on your fingers and travelling is to large extent a privilege - so why to show it off as an achievement when you were just to be born with a good passport mostly. (That is why I dont list the countries I have visited or lived in here, I find it ridiculous.)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

People are amazing. That is my cs experience!

Interests

books, writing, sociology, feminism, politics, photography, autonomous and underground culture and movements, food, techno and psytrance parties, beer, beer, beer, hitch-hiking, hiking, nature, camping, running, swimming, squat, reality, watching other people, thinking and dreaming, watching the stars and the moon, letting miracles to happen, people, walking, talking, talking, talking, dancing in the moonlight, listening

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Ty Segall, La Femme, Patti Smith, Nu, Fever Ray, Boy Harsher, The Beatles, Erkin Koray, Simin Ghanem, Altın Gün, Mazzy Star, Acid Arab, Alizée, Bonne Entendeur, I Hate Models, Lumi, Spiral Tribe

Books: Non-fiction at the moment mostly. I love genuine writing of Patti Smith. (She is an even better writer than singer.)

Movies: Not a movie fan that much. I never watch any movie alone while being at home. But I love to share a movie with somebody or go for a screening to a cinema or to a movie festival - especially for documentary movies.

Only Lovers Left Alive is my most favorite movie. Because of Tangier. Because of Morocco. Because of the love I felt when I was watching it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I moved.

Teach, Learn, Share

The flow.

What I Can Share with Hosts

The laugh. The silence. The stories. And veggie food! I love cooking for people.
