About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To tell people how awesome Brno is!

ABOUT ME

I try to be a multidimensional person.

PHILOSOPHY

I respect everyone's freedom, I am careful about judging people (I hate gossip). However, that should not mean ignorance and indifference to other people's deeds either. I want people to act fairly and respectfully to well being of others'.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I offer a room for nice and fair people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Some time ago, I was a guest in Romania, Bucharest and also in Burgas in Bulgaria. And also in Košice in Slovakia.

Interests

Most of stuff written in "occupation". I love mainly old architecture. Especially Czech late-gothic, rennaisance and early baroque. Also like to go to the opera, theatre, library. I read quite a lot.

Love jogging, swimming, in-lines and almost any individual sports except fitness centers (bodybuilding).

Music, Movies, and Books

Depends on situation. Good house music or DnB at a party, melancholic and poetic chansons for filling in a CS profile. Ska, reggae for chilling out. Opera for uplifting one's spirits...

Besides specialised economy theoretical and/or philosophical books I read some novels usually in French, in order to learn the language. Love existentialist novels (at the moment it is Kafka's L'Amerique (I know he was German from Prague, but the book is in French))

As for movies, I like ones which have a thought, an idea which has a deeper and broader meaning.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, I manage to study two programmes at the same time. I have made many interesting friends and have seen many beautiful places mainly in Central Europe.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, two or three days is not too long for learning or teaching. All I can offer is my (far from perfect) knowledge of Czech / Central European history and knowledge of Brno's highlights and dark sides.

I love having French conversations.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Bulgaria, Germany, Italy, Romania

Countries I’ve Lived In

France, Ireland
