About Me

I'm from a tiny town at the coast of Catalunya, near Barcelona. Even it's a gorgeous place, the extreme tranquility is often frustrating. That's why I decided to move to Barcelona with my brother and start our superior studies there. I can say my personality is a perfect reflection of that: being calm and lonely, bounded to nature and in need of simplicity and, in the other hand, rushed in the city life, attending to as much events as possible, doing sport and meeting people every free moment I have.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Whenever I have free time, I travel, I need it as something essential to my being. My objective, when I go to somewhere new, is to deeply meet, as far as I can, the culture, the people, the city, the hidden places only a native could know. Coachsurfing gives you this from the very first moment when you enter to your host house and that's what I love from this iniciative.

Interests

I've tried many activities since I was a little girl: ballet, painting, guitar, basketball, swimming, sailing...I still enjoy doing this things and I do, sometimes, but unfortunately I don't have the time to focus on them. My life now turns around design, music and traveling, mostly. Ah! And I'm also in a Drama group and I'm a quite experienced diver!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music and cinema are the most usual forms of art I'm delight with, although I really enjoy literature too and, to be fair, any expression of art is worth practicing or experimenting. My referent are always rough and tough, it seems raw things inspire me more. Psychedelic rock, Tarantino, Lynch, Irvin Welsh are a wee taste of what I like. I have to say, that as my taste for art is wide, I can be dancing to deep techno, flamenco, rock indistinctly, reading Baudelaire or watching the most romantic film of Woody Allen after an episode of South Park.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I can't just tell the "one amazing thing", I have loads of nice experience to share and also to listen about them! I love chatting and sharing, with some wine, beers or good food best!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love cooking and preparing meals for my friends and also with people I don't know, so I can share thoughts and experiences while enjoying good food. My father, who is a great cook, has taught me great recipes from different countries: typical Spanish food, Italian, French, Indian, Chinese...

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Belize, Brazil, Denmark, Egypt, Finland, France, Germany, India, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Mozambique, Netherlands, Scotland, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Tanzania, Thailand, United States
