I'm a 24 year old Australian based Photographer.

I currently work as a freelance photographer - capturing weddings, events, adventure and lifestyle work. I also have a full-time job as a photographer working on the Great Barrier Reef in Cairns, Australia.

I love travel because I'm interested in everyday people and their story. Photography is the tool that helps me connect and document this. I'm an open minded person. I listen and respect all religions and human races.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In 2016 I hope to take the next step and immerse myself in the culture of Japan, India and Nepal. In my past travels I would continually use hostels. I believe to truly understand foreign culture I must connect with the people of the country I visit.

I hope Couchsurfing allows me to connect with new people, network, build relationships and further push my wellbeing.

Interests

During my days off I'm usually off exploring. This mostly includes hiking, swimming in a local waterhole and finding the next hidden gem of my hometown.

And yes, my camera will be in my hand documenting the journey.

I enjoying going out to dinner with friends in one of the many multicultural restaurants in Cairns.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Visit Bagan, Myanmar. Get lost, sleep on a remote temple and photograph the sunset, milkyway and sunrise.

I worked as a graphic designer for 3 years, taught photography workshops and assisted photography students at James Cook University in Cairns, Australia. I'm sure this knowledge could be helpful if you're interested in learning!
