I see Couchsurfing as the perfect means to get to meet new people from all walks of life. I love the idea of travelling from place to place, meeting hosts, and learning all about the local area and culture.

I am a serious outdoor enthusiast with a passion for Mountaineering, Hiking, Rock and Ice Climbing, Mountain and Road Biking, Running, Swimming, Kayaking, you name it. I have plenty of hiking and climbing experience have done mountaineering trips all over Ireland, Wales, Scotland, France and Austria. My dream is to travel to the Himilayas or Patagonia at some point in the next few years.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Being Irish, I am a native English speaker though I've always wanted to become fluent in a second language so I am currently trying hard to learn German. I also have a basic understanding of French from my school days. I'm always looking for opportunities to learn from and practice speaking German and French with others, and can happily help you improve your English as a favor in return. As a bonus, I can teach you some useful/funny Irish phrases which will serve invaluable to you, should you choose to visit our beautiful country!
