Overview
About Me
I'm Wiebke, a 23-year old biology student from Germany. I lived in Finland for the past 5 months and I'm planning a longer trip to Vietnam before starting with my Master studies in autumn.
When travelling, I like to explore new places, learn about other cultures and just get to know people. I'm quite curious and laugh a lot. I like learning new languages and finding hidden spots.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've surfed, I've hosted and I went to cs meetings. I love that couch surfing offers everyone the possibility to meet locals while travelling and nice and interesting people in their own hometown. It can be very fun to play tourist in your own hometown with a couch surfer. I've had so many great conversations and gotten invaluable advice that made my travels so much more enjoyable.
My first experiences couchsurfing in Sweden and hosting in Finland have been absolutely great, so I can't wait to host and surf some more.(:
Interests
I think almost anything can be interesting and I never get tired of asking questions and learning new things. I love to listen to people talk about something they are passionate about but controversial discussions can be fun too.
Here are some things I like to spend my free time on:
music, festivals&concerts
dancing
travelling
science&nature
books&art
cooking with/for friends
aerial silks, acrobatics&yoga

Music, Movies, and Books
I love discovering new music. I'm always open for suggestions. Spotify says that I've been listening to Indie and Pop a lot last year but I like Rock and Classical music as well. And Techno and Electro mainly for going out.
I'm not much of a movies person, so please give me some recommendations. Generally, I'm more interested in the plot than in special effects.
I try to read as much as possible, and still I always have a bunch of books waiting for me to open them on my shelf. I loved the HarryPotter series, and some of my favourite books are Wide Sargasso Sea by Jean Rhys and Cat's Cradle by Kurt Vonnegut.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you some very easy and delicious (vegan/vegetarian) recipies and a few words in different languages.
