ABOUT ME

Hi there! I am Rianne van Dam, born and raised in Amsterdam, but elsewhere as much as I can, 'cause I love traveling, exploring new places and meeting inspiring people.
I studied Philosophy and Scandinavian Studies at the University of Amsterdam and I just started with a Master in Philosophy at the University of Ghent. In my spare time, I like listening to music, reading, cycling, playing football, chatting with friends and, of course, travelling.
I would describe myself as a positive minded, ambitious and caring person. If you have any more questions about me or anything else you think I might know, don't hesitate to just ask!

• I'll never forget the way I felt when arriving in Sweden for the first time: it felt like coming home.
• Surviving a snowstorm when I was hiking in the Himalayas.
• Horseback riding through the lavafields in Iceland.
• Travelling by bus all the way through the Balkans: I didn't have a plan, which turned out to be the best plan to have there. It was a great experience to just go and not knowing where I'd end.
