Ilse (33 years) born in North of Holland. Live and work in Rotterdam. I facilitate an intern artstudio in the Pauluschurch in Rotterdam for the visitors. Visitors with a sertain ask for help because of their fragile background and considerd outsiders of our materialistic society.

At the moment I teach and learn to work with silver. I guide a group of people into making their own Jewlery together with a Goldsmith in a local community centre.

I love a good conversation, eating well, meditation, swimming, drawing, reading writing stories poems, nature, dance, music. I am serious, calm, positive, kind easygoing person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to travel more, to meet other people to know more about
the world and also myself. To open up my view about things from life experiences. It makes the world smaller if you find a place to go and knowing you have a bed to sleep in and some local people to talk to. The system sounds comfortable and easygoing. And I am not super wealthy to afford a star hotel with a bathtub and a phone beside the bed for to order a bottle of wine. Not even sure if it wil make me a happier person if I coul have all that.
