About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Learn French & climb mountains

ABOUT ME

I'm from Barcelona. One day, I decided that when I say I'm going to do something, I shouldn't stop until I do it. I love hard work over everything because I think that living and working deserves the same effort. At 30 I left my corporate job to pursue my dream of travelling and climbing mountains. That's an adventure that started not even a month ago and, for the people I've met and the things I've done so far, it's totally worth it.

PHILOSOPHY

Master of my fate, Captain of my soul.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I never needed to couchsurf because I never left home. However, some of my friends back in Barcelona always had couchsurfers at their place and it was awesome. I'm willing to do that!

Interests

When I was a kid, my family and I used to go on vacation to a town of the Spanish Pyrenees called Benasque. From there, on clear days, one could see the summit of the Mount Aneto (3404m). When asked what I would like to do as a grown up, I always said: "A climber to climb the Aneto". The same feeling came to me 20 years later when I saw the Mont-Blanc for the first time in my life, from a swiss road on my way to Germany. The road to these mountains is not always straight, so I'm willing to take every turn: Now I work in France, learn French, train hard on mountain running and I'm a little bit closer to these summits.
