When I was a kid I wanted to be Indiana Jones. Adventure is for me and I love to learn random or weird skills.

When we are in between volunteering, we have more time to explore the surroundings and the towns. We like to wander around the area with our host. Exchanging stories, cooking, drinking. We naturally help out and always had a good time with the people we meet.

This is what I wrote when I first used couchsurfing for my 10 days Hitchhiking in 2016:
-I got invited by a gay couple to a Piano recital In Lisbon in November
-Learned about how to anchor tankers to fill them up with petrol from 2000m depth source
-Met a couple from Chili/Uruguay that taught me about the advantages of Dooleys over Baileys
-Played checkers on a chess board with a drunken Latvian grandmother
-Discovered the Country music of Lido and its ghost amusement park
-Went to a Latvian housewarming party
-Strip with the Norwegian students to make the longest line of clothes (+than 20metres)
-Attended a pubcrawl
-Defeated the number 60 in Latvia for Fussball
-party on techno music
-Crossed the whole market of Vilnius between organic super food, cheese, and carrot chips
-Went to Uzupis, Vilnius’s micronation
-Cooked a “Sauerkraut” and drank Gubernijawith my hoste (a bread based non-alcoholic drink)
- Hang out with a Swiss traveller I met in Riga two days earlier
-Hitchhiked by chance a sports car driven by a Mexican I met the day before!!!
-Spent the night at the Polish border because hitchhiking there is impossible
-Slept in an abandoned (haunted) house and discovered letters from 1992.
-Went to the SPA and Sauna with my host en Warsaw
-Went wilde camping at the Baltic sea
-Walked at the 2016 Berlin Marathon
-Slept in Rigaer Strasse Squat with a Russian hitchhiker
-Saw my Grandparents in Belgium
-Handymen in Paris
-Slept at the gas station at the Millau brifge (tallest in the world)
-Particiapate in the Beach frisbee tournament in Barcelona
-Met 3 walkers from the camino de Santiago at a Free tour in Madrid
-I WENT TO THE PIANO RECITAL IN LISBON (and 2more) !!!!!

I want to get a sword fighting master that would teach me his knowledge
I want cook banana and chocolate over the fire
I want to learn the name of the stars and their constallation ( I already know a few)
I want to do a trip on horse back and sleep like a cowboy
And many more things are on my wishlist
