Established as a successful artist in western Canada he has sold his works in fine art galleries and upscale interior design stores since 2008. A pioneering self-taught artist, he specializes in large-scale nature inspired paper mache wall sculptures, and modern contemporary paintings. Using a unique technique to create 3 dimensional textured surfaces, vibrant colors and flawless gloss resin finishes, his original sculptures and paintings invoke a feeling of peace and tranquility. Delving deep into his inner most consciousness, his art is an expression of an inward journey, expressed outwardly. Each original piece has a unique message, story and intention. Working intuitively, his original style combines the organic texture of the paper mache surfaces, with bold color and epoxy resin finishes. His works can be found in fine hotels, spas and homes throughout the world.

​His career began with the original leaf and flower sculptures, inspired by the rich, vibrant nature in western Canada. Constructed using a hand made steel frame, custom Chinese rice paper mache, acrylic and finished with an epoxy resin, the wall sculptures have a natural organic feeling. His intention was to re create the serenity and peace found in nature through the sculptures bringing it into the modern dwelling, where man has found himself often disconnected with the natural world. With the same technique, his work evolved into large scale modern sculpted, textured paintings. Using the same technique on board, the 3 dimensional surfaces, draw the viewer on an inward journey of self discovery.

Always contemplating the queston, “Who am I” and re defining the answer, the art has always been an outer expression of the beauty that I have found inside myself in response to that very question. I am continuously inspired by the creative power that man is capable of, and have always aspired to be unique and original in my approach to art. For me art is meditation, it is energy, it is the space that connects me to the present moment, and allows my love, intelligence and power to express and manifest into the works you see before you.
